Why is good customer service not important anymore? You call someone on the phone and they are rude and make you feel like an idiot. You go to a store and you are ignored or the salesperson acts like you are bothering them.
I am in a dispute with a company on a contract that I signed for a service, they are now trying to say what I signed is wrong and that there is another page which I did not get a copy of and don't have a copy of that. I have asked for a copy of that page and they have not been able to show me a that extra page????? The lady on the phone was actually rude to me when I asked for a copy and left me a rude voice mail that there was no error and I was wrong.
After I calmed down, I called her and was so nice and advised her that unless she can show me the other page she says I signed, I will contact an attorney. This lady could care less whether this gets straighted out or not.
I have worked in a customer service type business and would never openly argue with a customer or client like she has.....
I have now advised her that I will contact the owner of the business and this has seemed to light a fire under her to help me.
Maybe our economy isn't so bad after all when it comes to the unemployment rate because it seems like nobody is afraid of losing their jobs due to giving Bad customer service
