Ok I am back, fresh off of the flu.....Yes the flu, all those sick people coming to work finally caught up to me.

I hate being sick, moving from the couch to the bed, freezing then burning up, hungry then feeling sick to my stomach. I spent 5 days at home feeling like CRAP and getting on the dog and cat's nerves because I was taking up space on the bed or couch.And daytime tv is not all its cracked up to be. I ended up watching either Law & Order or CNN, FOX NEWS, or MSNBC with all the election news.

I also wonder what I am missing at work and what big scandal is going on without me. (I really ended up missing nothing at work everyone else was sick also)

Oh well I am back to work and all is well again, and the dog and cat are soooo glad I am better and going to work so they can have the house all to themselves again doing who knows.(It sure is not cleaning)

I don't understand some people (or most people) why why why MUST you come to work SICK...running a fever, coughing and sneezing all over the place. They think it is called be dedicated, I call it stupid. If you feel like death, look like death and are sweating profusly from a high fever then stay home and if you must leave the house go to the doctor. We are right in the middle of the biggest flu epidemic in the last 4 years where I live. I don't even want to go to the store and use a cart for fear of catching something.

Just remember, wash your hands, wash your hands, wash your hands.and stay home if you even think you may be sick.

I love football and I REALLY love the super bowl. Now, I really watch the game and also has a extra gift I also like to see all the new commercials for everything from beer to car insurance. (I would love to see that geico guy in a bud light commercial, along with the high five'n squirrels that cause a car to run off the road.

Not to mention all the snack food eating that goes along with the game. There is nothing like having pigs in a blanket, chips & dip, and a cold beer or soft drink to wash it all down while sitting in front of the tv (hopefully a big screen) and watching the big game.

Now lets talk about the points spread for betting on the big game. This had to be developed by a MAN. Why can't you just pick a team you think will win and go with that. Betting against or at the points spread makes no sense, and those same men making fun of women for picking a favorite team by the color of the uniforms.....I don't think all men really understand it either, but they would never let that be known.

Well anyway I hope everyone has a great superbowl weekend and please DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE..........................

I love to watch the fighting and bickering back and forth that all the players in our Presidential Election are becoming famous for. Ok not really but someone needs a time out and/or a nap.

I mean really, I don't care about the personal stupid stabs they take with each other, I just want someone to actually tell me how They Will fix all that needs to be fixed and then do it.

They never answer any question that anybody asks them and if they do give a response it is never a answer to the question asked.It actually sometimes insults me to hear them go on and on about nothing and think that no one realizes it.....

Oh well we have a long time to go and Oh how I can't wait until after the primaries and nominations are set to all the TV commercials start.....I LOVE TIVO...skip right thru those BABIES

Why do men think that a 25 year old blonde, skinny women would be really interested in a 60 year old, face-lifted rich man????? Now I know that some of those relationships are for real(yea right)but do the women or even better the poor,desperate rich men Not know what these women are really after. Cars, furs and lots and lots of jewerly really have nothing to do with it(yea right again).They have no interest in any thing of importance, can't usually carry on a conversation of any substance with these men. The experiences and life lessons these men could teach them is of no importance to these women.

Ok I know I am going to make some people mad with having said all that, but really to all the rich and lonely men just find some one you own age (or closer to it) and give us 40 something women a break......Now I feel better.
